Bridgeport City Council member Byron Leon Dave, 49, turned himself in to the Jackson County Jail on Tuesday, May 8 on two outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrants charging him with harassment and menacing.
The warrants were obtained by the alleged victim of the crime after the report was taken from the victim by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. The alleged offense took place on Aldhouse Avenue in Bridgeport and is reported to have involved a pistol being brandished. Dave was released on $1,000 bond.
