Marion June Tipton, 80 of Woodville, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church. Dr. Robert Gamble, Rev. Don Cooper and Rev. Jamie Baldwin officiated. Interment followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Tipton is survived by her husband, Sam Tipton, of Woodville; daughter, Jona Renee (David) Clay, of Woodville; grandsons, Matthew (Tracie) Pittman and Joshua (Christie) Pittman, both of Texas, and Christopher (Kristen) Massengale, of Tenn.; great grandchildren, Avery Pittman , Ava Pittman, Blake and Christian; sister, Alice Faye Osborne, of Scottsboro; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tipton was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Alan Tipton; parents, John H. and Velma Osborne; sister, Ruby Newsome; and brothers, Hugh H. Owens and Grady Bruton.
