Candy Stephenson recently addressed Collins Elementary fifth and sixth graders as a part of the BFF, Better Future for Everyone, initiative.
Stephenson told students about her son Hunter, who died at 16 as a result of bad decisions involving drugs an alcohol. Stephenson started Hunter’s Hotline in her sons honor for students to call, email or text and anonymously report bullying, or drug and alcohol abuse. BFF recently launched a similar hotline for students at Collins Elementary.
