Mack Thomas, 83 of Scottsboro, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church. Dr. Robert Gamble and Rev. Johnnie Fincher officiated. Interment followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Kathleen Keller Thomas, of Scottsboro; daughter, Deborah (Larry) Forrest, of Madison; granddaughter, Teresa (Jeff) Hancock; great grandchildren, Laura Beth Hancock and Forrest Hancock, of Scottsboro; sisters, Eileen Hayes and Mae Johnson, both of Huntsville; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friend. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Myrtle Sells Thomas.
