Scottsboro City Schools will hold kindergarten registration on April 20 from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Brownwood, Caldwell and Nelson elementary schools.  If your child will be five years old on or before September 1, 2012 he or she is eligible to register for the 2012-2013 school year. You must register your child at the school for which you are zoned. Please bring your child’s birth certificate, blue slip, Social Security card and proof of residency (exceptions may apply). There will be a parent meeting for pre-registering kindergarten students beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17 at the Collins Eazazlementary Auditorium. A pre-registration packet will be available at the meeting. If you have any questions call the Scottsboro City Board of Education at 256-218-2100.
