Four arrested for burglary in Section

According to Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen on Monday, April 9 the Section Police Department responded to a burglary in progress at a residence on County Road 48 and 419 in Section.
The responding officer observed two vehicles which attempted to leave the area. He stopped one vehicle, the other left. During the investigation the officer discovered that a door had been broken into. He then contacted the Sheriff's Office investigators, and Investigator Tony Baker responded to the call. The officers then recovered property that had been removed from the residence. During the investigation the other vehicle came back and the suspects admitted they were involved. Anothy Todd Manning, 21 of Section, Gregory Max Reel, 34 of Section, Savannah Jewel Christian, 21 of Section, and Ashley Nicole Baker, 24 of Section were all arrested and charged with second degree theft of property and third degree burglary. On Tuesday, April 10 one defendant took Investigator Baker to a location where he retrieved additional stolen property valued at around $1500.
