Gladys Morris Houser, 92 of Stevenson, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson.

Interment followed at the Stevenson City Cemetery.  Mrs. Houser is survived by her husband, Cecil Paul “C.P.” Houser, of Stevenson; sons, Wallace Glenn (Faye) Houser, of Birmingham, Bobby Lee (Charlotte) Houser, of Huntsville, and Benny Jack Houser, of Stevenson; grandchildren, Dewight Glenn Houser, Debbie Lynn House Hamby, Jeff Michael Houser, Cheryl Lavonne Houser, Kennedy Hope Houser, Neil Wade Houser, Cynthia Ann Houser Steele, Tracy Lynn Houser McCrary, B.J. Houser and Haley Lynn Houser; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Bethel Cashon, of Huntsville, and Helen Bradford, of Hollywood; and a host of other relatives. Mrs. Houser was preceded in death by her parents Luther Vernon “L.V.” and Mary Ethel Prince Morris; and siblings, Evelyn Willmon, Warnie Morris and James Morris.
