Pan Seared Salmon with Soy Glaze & Herb Sauce on the side

This salmon dish is quick and easy. Add the glaze and a perfect dish you have. This dish is not fishy tasting like some salmon dishes can be. The fresh herb sauce is good on a lot of different fish and also on pork. It will keep in the refrigerator for a good 2 weeks.
Enjoy!

Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons of olive oil
4 salmon filets
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup of soy sauce
1 cup of sugar
4 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
1 Tablespoon of minced garlic
Olive oil
1 pint of sour cream
1 bunch of dill chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
½ cup of mayo
1 shallot minced
3 Tablespoons of horseradish
⅓ cup of olive oil
4 Tablespoons of chopped basil

Directions:
Salt and pepper salmon and sear with olive oil in a skillet on both sides. In a small pot, mix together soy sauce, sugar, vegetable oil, vinegar, and minced garlic together. Stir until sugar dissolves. When mixture starts to bubble, remove from stove and brush on salmon filets, heavily. Let sit for 2 minutes and then it will be ready to serve. For side sauce, mix together sour cream, dill, lemon, mayo, shallot, horseradish, olive oil, and basil. Stir very well. Let chill one hour before serving.
