So what’s up for the 2011 Fall trends?  Seventies fashion remains high on the fashion lists and is a carryover from 2010.  As for fashion this Fall denim, is again big, big and it is coming in all colors and styles.  

Watch out for a new company called RayGun.  Plunging necklines are not going to be affected by the cold weather.  Necklines are definitely dropping.  Pleats are on the fashion scene and range from soft pleated materials to stiff fabrics that have pleats pressed into the style.  Fur clothing is a must for the fall and winter.  There is colored fur, fur arms, fur collars, full length furs and short jackets made of fur.  We will stay out of the controversy of if it is real fur or fake fur.  

Nothing could be more 70’s than women in tuxedos.  I loved it then and will love it again.  Step aside for the bell bottom or flared leg pants.  Skinny pants have been around for sometime and the industry wants to make a change so go get some bell bottoms.  Also, the wide leg pants are making a huge appearance this season along with the maxi dress.  

Hair trends are following the 70’s trend with a layered bob and short tresses are so cute and the shag is resurging with a strong following.  Hair color is all over the place with platinum blondes to beautiful reds to rich brunettes.  As the fall season moves in and the winter season approaches, we will see some more trends but I believe the 70’s are still in the forefront.
