It’s styling... - 04/13/11

Here I go one more time writing about the biggest trends seen on the runway.  The seventies grooves are what is on track.

Nothing is too polished and everything looks undone.  All the 70’s looks are re-imagined and re-intrepreted and perfectly fits with the season’s clothing trends.  Everything varies in length and size.

We will see braids, knots and buns play a strong role in styling for long hair.  Taking a cue from the edgier side of the disco era, sexy updated shags will be a major hit.  This season’s all about lighter, airy, shag-like cuts that caress the medium to shorter wispy layers on the interior, giving the cuts a fresh look.  Keep the cuts carefree whether your shag is short or caresses the shoulders.  Also embrace short hair this season.

This season work with the way the  hair wants to lay don’t try to make it go in a certain style.  Let it do it’s direction.  Make sure your cuts are texturized so that wispy is present.  Also pump up the volume of these cuts with a volumizer or strong hair spray at the roots.  Go get that new 70’s look.
