Bridge limits change

Mud Creek BridgeWeight limit to be lowered to five tons.

During a recent Jackson County Work Session, Jackson County Engineer Philip Widner stated the bridge located on County Road 213 near the Mud Creek Restaurant weight limit would need to be lowered to five tons.

Widner said the bridge was open to all traffic but due to the concrete spalling around the beams, the limit would need to be lowered.

The bridge was built in 1927 and was taken into county inventory on May 9, 1988.
