The Jackson County Sheriff's Department arrested a couple on drug charges. According to Jackson County Sheriff's Department Captain Eric Woodall, Jackson County Sheriff's Department Deputies went to a residence on County Road 339 in Pisgah to serve an arrest warrant on an individual believe to be at the residence.
Woodall said when the deputies arrived at the residence a methamphetamine lab along with a small amount of meth was found.
Arrested were Chasity Ellison, 30 of Pisgah and Jeremy Underwood, 33 of Pisgah.
Both were arrested and charged with first degree unlawful manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Both were taken to the Jackson County Jail.
