Christmas Charities to take apps next week

Christmas Charities of Jackson County will be taking applications for assistance during the holidays during the week of September 26 through September 30.

Bridgeport residents may apply at the Bridgeport Lions Club building between 3 and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday of that week.

Dutton residents may apply at the Dutton Town Hall on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Langston residents may apply at Langston Town Hall Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Pisgah and Rosalie residents may apply at the Pisgah Service Center Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Section and Macedonia residents may apply Thursday, September 29 only from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Section Town Hall.

Stevenson and Fackler residents may apply at the Stevenson Housing Authority on Tuesday, September 27 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. or at the Michael Scott Learning Center on Thursday, September 29 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Scottsboro, Hollywood and Skyline residents may apply at the Scottsboro Housing Authority Community Center located at 1203 Reed Street (Across from hospital) Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Woodville Paint Rock and Paint Rock Valley residents may apply at Woodville Town Hall on Wednesday, September 28 only from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Residents are urged to apply at the center nearest your home. The poverty guideline used by Christmas Charities can be seen above.
