The Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce – a nonprofit, board-led business advocate organization with a mission to be the voice of progress in our hometown business community – announced that nominations are now being accepted for six new members to its 2020 Board of Directors.

Elected members are all esteemed regional leaders selected to serve alongside an already impressive list of Jackson County community’s civic and business influencers to help guide the Mountain Lakes Chamber into a successful future.
Assuming the role of Chairman of the Board on January 1, 2020; Dylan Smith, who has served on the Chamber Board of Directors for two years where he is currently a board member along with Chairman Stacy Ledwell, Jim Barclay, Larry Becker, Jim Blevins, A.J. Buckner, Royce Cornelison, Monica Davis, Bishop Dawson, Heather Garner, Steve Gauldin, Barry Hughes, Allen Keller, Bob Manning, Judy Matthews, Bill Nance, Ashley Parrett, Laura Pitts, Sarah Kennedy Precise, Elaine Slater, Patrick Stewart, Karen Suggs and Vicki Watts.
“I look forward to partnering with our new board members as the Mountain Lakes Chamber continues to creatively propel business and tourism forward in Jackson County,” said Rick Roden, President and CEO of the Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce. In a community boasting high-tech industry growth, they are confident their board members are equipped to guide the Chamber into the future, while continuing to strengthen efforts by bringing more diverse programming and relevant conversations to the business community than ever before.
All nominations must be placed in a sealed envelope and delivered to the Chamber at 407 East Willow Street in Scottsboro by Friday, October 7th at 4:30 p.m.
