The 14th annual Back-To-School Sales Tax Holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday July 19, and ends at twelve midnight on the following Sunday, July 21.

Jackson and DeKalb counties, as well as Pisgah, Scottsboro, Stevenson, Woodville (Jackson County) Fort Payne, Geraldine, Henagar, Ider, Rainsville, Sylvania, Valley Head (DeKalb County) and Grant (Marshall County) are all participating in the holiday.
Items included in the tax break will be clothing priced at $100 or less per article; Computers, software or school computer supplies with a single purchase price of $750 or less; School supplies, school art supplies and school instructional material with a sale price of less than $50; and books (noncommercial) with a sale price of less than $30 each.
