The Jackson County Board of Education announced that it will be having informational meetings throughout the county to discuss a new virtual program for the 2019-2020 school year.

The scheduled meetings for parents and guardians are as follows:
•April 22nd 6 p.m. at the Section High School Library
•April 23rd 6 p.m. at the Skyline High School Library
•April 25th 6 p.m. at the Woodville High School Library
•April 29th 6 p.m. at the Pisgah High School Library
•April 30th 6 p.m. at the North Sand Mountain Lunchroom
•May 13th 6 p.m. at the North Jackson High School Gym
•May 14th 1 p.m. at the EPCOT Activity room
Students who wish to participate in program must be enrolled in the Jackson County School system. Students may work at their own pace and may finish the program early.
Students will be able to participate in all of their base school’s activities. Students may attend the tech school. They may participate in dual enrollment. They may participate in their school’s sports.
Upon completion of the program they will receive a diploma from their base school. The program is free of charge.
