Edward “Ed” Sharp, age 71 of Scottsboro, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Bro. Paul McBride and Bro. Leon Venable officiated.  
Mr. Sharp retired from the Alabama Game and Fish after 25 years of employment. He was also a Master Mason at the Walter R. Bogart Lodge 882 in Hollywood.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife, Deloris McBride Sharp; daughters, Teresa (Labrone) Brownfield, Marsha (Tony) Humphres, Joni (Tim) Ingram; grandchildren, Sarah Westmoreland, Emily Brownfield, Tyler Ingram, Autumn Ingram, Brayden Humphres, Callen Humphres; sister, Dianne (Jim) Stephens; special brother-in-law and best friend, Bob Miller; as well as several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Womack and Arthur Sharp; brother, Jimmy Sharp; and sister, Missy Holder.
