Tamara Carlisle Easton, age 47 of Mattoon, Illinois, formerly of Scottsboro, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017.

Mrs. Easton is survived by her special friend, Richard Burns; mother, Barbara Anderson Carlisle Wright; sisters, Lisa Carlisle, Susan Carlisle; daughter, Destiny Carlisle Berrong (Ishmael) Bibbs; grandson, Liam Bibbs; son, A.J. Easton; daughter, Gabriella Easton; uncles, Richard (Karen) Anderson, Jesse (Doris) Carlisle; nieces, Tiffany Carlisle, Emily (Alan) Wingo; nephews, Dakota Carlisle, Jonathan Carlisle; great nieces, Avari Carlisle, Ariana Carlisle; brother, Joshua (Samantha) Carlisle; and very special step mother, Kim Smee; as well as many cousins and friends in Alabama, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indiana, Illinois and Tennessee.
Mrs. Easton was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Margaret Anderson, Phroney and Elizabeth Carlisle; father, Gardner Carlisle; and sister, Dawn Carlisle.
As a child, Tamara was a very happy, intelligent little girl. She enjoyed cheerleading for the fourth grade football team, was an avid reader, loved going to Sunday School and church and had the best ability to remember a joke and tell it as no one else could. She loved making others laugh and they loved her fun loving personality.
Tamara graduated high school and completed two years at Purdue University, Indiana, and onto Lee University at Cleveland, Tenn., where she obtained a degree in Child Psychology.
