Rosalind Elizabeth Barnes-Cothron, age 61 of Scottsboro, passed away on February 5, 2018.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from the North Houston Street Church of God. Bro. Edward J. Woods officiated.
Mrs. Barnes-Cothron is survived by her husband, Wilson Cothron; sons, Lamont Hall, Jr., Leonard A Richardson, Jr., Thomas E. Richardson, Sr., stepchildren, Kertrielle (Dylan) Barros, Asha R. Cothron, Kaleca “MoMo” Jones; grandchildren, Amya J. Poole, Amori D. Richardson, Leonard A. Richardson, III, Thomas E. Richardson, Jr., Calesha Smelley, Cash Smelley; sisters, Robin Reid, Linda Jenkins; brother, Michael Maker; aunts, Bernetta Barnes, Tiara Barnes, Kasa Barnes, Zelda Briscoe; uncle, John Barnes; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Mrs. Barnes-Cothron was preceded in death by her parents, John and Shirley Maker; grandparents, Charles and Angus Barnes; seven aunts and uncles.
