Mitchell “Mitch” Brandon Wininger, age 31 of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, formerly of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017.

Memorial services were held in Mt. Vernon and Scottsboro.
Mitch was extremely tech savvy. He was always up on cutting edge technology whether it be computers, software, programming, webpage design or electronics, he could figure it out. He was also a whiz when it came to building and fixing computers. He would always build his and others to be the best one, the fastest one and undoubtedly the coolest one. Mitch had a great passion and excitement for cooking, he loved planting a garden each year, especially his hot peppers, and had recently taken an interest in photography.
Mitch had such a caring and giving heart, along with a great love for people. He was always checking to see if you needed or wanted anything; making sure that you were taken care of.   He was such a sensitive, gentle, and kind soul and had a genuine conviction for helping others.   It was not unlike him to come home and get food to take to someone in need. He was patient and caring with the elderly, and known to cut their grass or bring in their mail without them knowing it was him. Mitch loved kids and he never met a child that didn’t love him.
Mitch is survived by his dad and mom, Randy and Kathy Wininger; his maw-maw, Joyce Wininger; grandparents, Virgel and Shirley Dickens; sister, Jessica (Jerry) Ricketts; their children, Jordyn and Jaxon; brothers, Jason (Michelle) Moll; their children, Preston and Scarlett, Cody (Samantha Schu) Moll; aunt and uncle, Judy and Mike Soistman; uncle, Jim Sentell; cousins, Ashley and Daniel Colon, their son, Easton, Erik and Tisha Sentell, their children, Carson and Ainsley; his biological mother, Beverly Hill; uncle and aunt, Larry and Carol Hill; cousin, Lauren Hill Atchley.
Mitch was preceded in death by his paw paw, who he cherished, Olan Wininger; and maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Joyce Hill.
