Margaret Parker Spilter, age 75 of Scottsboro, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Rev. Lisa Busby officiated.
Mrs. Spilter is survived by her daughters, Caroline  Harnett (Jarrod M.)  Goss, Melanie Parker (Arthur A.) Hoffmann; grandchildren, William A. Hoffman, Nicholas Hoffmann; sister, Judith Parker (Arthur) Zeigar; brother, James S. Parker; and nieces, Alysium Parker Sunseri and Venessa Parker Bruce.
Mrs. Spilter was preceded in death by her husbands, Dr. William W. Harnett and Mr. George W. Spilter.
She was a 1960 graduate of Tenafly High School. She received an Associates in Art degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1962 and had a career as a dental hygienist until her retirement in 1986.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in her honor.
