The measure of divine love

There is a beautiful prayer in the Bible concerning the measure of Divine Love.  This is the beautiful and meaningful prayer offered by the Apostle Paul on behalf of Gentiles who were brought into relationship with God.  It can be found in Ephesians 3:14-19.
Ephesians 3:14-19. ¹⁴“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁵ Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  ¹⁶ That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; ¹⁷That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,   ¹⁸May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;  ¹⁹And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.”
Notice that Paul says of Christ’s love that it is immeasurable; it is unfathomable; it passeth all knowledge and all understanding. (verse 19).  Yet he prays that we may be able to comprehend. . . the breadth, length, depth, and height, (verse 18) and that we may “know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge” (verse 19).   How do we know something that surpasses knowledge?
The kind of love that Paul is speaking of here is not a thing that a man might study academically and know all about.  It surpasses knowledge. It surpasses understanding.  It defies human logic.  You can’t put it in a test-tube and measure it or weigh it, or say it has certain chemical properties, and has thus and so chemical reactions.  It’s not discovered academically nor scientifically.  It doesn’t have density or mass or weight scientifically.
He says it passeth knowledge [Ephesians 3:19] but his prayer is “That we may be able to comprehend [apprehend; grasp; attain to an understanding] with all saints” [Ephesians 3:18].  That is, what they know, what they have felt, what they have seen, that we might know with them.  How?  by experiencing it!  Then He Speaks of the Four Dimensions of this experiential love of God in Christ Jesus.  We are made able to understand with all saints “what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge” (Ephesians 3:18).
What is the breadth of the love of God?  It can be seen in that it reaches to men of every race and rank, class and clime, tribe and tongue.  Hebrews 2:9 (KJV) 9 “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”
What is the length of the love of God? This can be seen in that it reaches from age to age and from everlasting to everlasting, never putting down a work until it can truthfully be said, “It Is Finished.”
What is the depth of God’s love?  Depth can be seen in that it reaches down to men in the lowest abyss of guilt.
Height can be seen in the position of exaltation and supremacy to which His love exalts us all.
It raises us to sit in heavenly places (Eph. 2:4-6).
