I found these posts on Facebook from two women who know what they are talking about and I want to share them with you:

“If you’re out there thinking that using some type of speed is not hurting you, believe me in years to come it’s affecting your well-being some how, some way. Thank God daily for good health! Think twice about putting that crap in your body. My poor daddy use to beg me to stop before it’s too late. I just pray I’ve not damaged myself too much.”
Another girl said, “You can’t help someone who doesn’t want help. You can try but you will be the one suffering. I have tried, God knows I have for so long now to help a family member but now that relationship is toxic and it has been for years but I allowed my love to blind me to the truth. When you are hurt more than you are loved that is toxic.
Hurting people hurt people because they operate out of that pain instead of love and I have done that so I totally get it.
But there comes a time when you have to say enough is enough! Enough! Enough tears! Enough hurtful words!
Enough! You have to let go, not let go and never talk to them but let go of the toxic relationship and love from a distance. Allow God to deal with that person and heal your wounded heart but do it from a distance.
You can not be the Holy Spirit and deal with all their problems. They need to deal with it themselves.
Between them and God and by you distancing yourself you give God the control to do this!
This is what I am learning slowly after years and years of verbal abuse. Time to go! Move on!”
“God never said it would be easy just that we don’t have to face it alone.
If you are doing drugs or just thinking about it, you need to listen to these voices of experience.
God bless.
