On Friday, February 1, 2019, a special prosecutor with the Albertville Municipal Court recommended to a specially-appointed Albertville city judge that Scottsboro Municipal Judge Scott Berry not be prosecuted concerning an alleged minor incident and prior misdemeanor allegation of reckless endangerment which allegedly occurred at Berry’s estranged father’s residence in Albertville in early August 2018.
