Jackson County District 2 Commissioner Jason Venable has announced his intentions to seek re-election.


Venable says it has been an honor to serve as a member of the Jackson County Commission.
“It has been a great experience to represent the county where I live and raise my family with my wife of 26 years, Tricia Venable as well as our three children. Our three children: Blake Venable 23 years old, is a welder by trade; Carly Venable, 21 years old, is currently attending Auburn University; and Emma Venable, 13 years old, is a student at Skyline Jr. High. All are very proud of the education and community they have grown up in. My parents JW and Judy Venable are also lifelong residents of Jackson County.
Venable will be on the Republican ticket. The Primary Election will be Tuesday, June 5.
