The Scottsboro High School Soccer Booster Club  is currently in search of businesses, individuals or groups to invest in the new, first ever, soccer program at Scottsboro High School.

The sponsorships would give the program the jumpstart necessary to build a successful program, as there are many financial needs to get the program up and running.
According to soccer coach, Patrick Laney, “We have started a program and will compete for the first time in Spring 2018. We will field a Boys Varsity and Girls Varsity team along with a JV Boys team. The Varsity teams will play 18 games and compete in the Decatur River City Shoot out at the end of February. The inaugural game for Scottsboro soccer will be a double header of both varsity teams on February 13 at 5 p.m. and 7p.m. Both teams will play against Mae Jemison. All home games will be held at Bynum Park. We had over 110 players tryout for soccer from grades 7-12 but are limited to 60 participants in our program due to the number of coaches available. Our boosters and players need to raise $12,000 in year 1 to cover the expenses of games, officials, basic equipment, etc. Additional funds are needed to advance the program beyond these base expenses. The Scottsboro Soccer Boosters are looking for donations to cover these costs and offering in-season sponsorships at the Bynum Park field to businesses looking to support this new program.”
Founders Club ($1,000 or more), World Cup ($500 - $999), and Gold Cup ($300 -$499) level sponsorships will receives special recognition in addition to team items such as t-shirts, logos, game passes, depending on the level of sponsorship. All donations are welcomed.
To donate, please contact Jeff Hill at  256-599-4710 or Patrick Laney, Head Coach, at 256-609-8976 (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
Other opportunities to contribute to soccer include purchasing Scottsboro Soccer shirts for $15 and players will be selling insulated cups.
