CC Cats prevail at Chickasaw Trails

The Scottsboro Wildcats cross country team traveled to the Oakville Indian Mounds  to compete in the Chickasaw Trails Invitational on Saturday.

 

Cats claw back to beat Arab

The Scottsboro Wildcats found themselves in a deficit on Friday night in their first region game of the season, but that deficit was overcome in the second half as the Wildcats scored 21 points in the second half to outlast Arab, 21-14.

   

CC Cats take 8th at Clara Bowl Invitational

The Scottsboro Wildcats Cross Country team got its  first taste of competition on Saturday as the team traveled to race at Berry College (Rome, GA) in the Clara Bowl Invitational.

   

There is more to Fall Fishing than Structure

The biggest change in fall fishing occurs more in how the largemouth bass change their habits and why they relate to open flats more than any time of the year. Bass will more often follow the forage or bait fish than any other time of year; this can make them harder to locate as most anglers are used to looking for structure to hold them.  

   

Cats fall to H’ville, travel to Arab

The Scottsboro Wildcats experienced something on Friday night that a lot of high school teams never get to: playing in a college stadium.
Unfortunately for the Wildcats and head  coach Swane Morris, their experience at Alabama A&M wasn’t a pleasant one as they fell to Class 6A Huntsville, 48-10.
