Huntsville, AL - Today’s military family life has changed significantly compared to that of the past.
In an effort to enhance their Service to the Armed Forces Program, the American Red Cross is hosting the first of a series of Military Focus Group meetings. The first meeting will be conducted on Thursday, October 28 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at their 1101 Washington Street location in Huntsville. Mary Moreillon, Regional Executive Director, states, “We are reaching out to facilitate a partnership resulting in a stronger military family support network in the North Alabama and Tennessee Valley Region.”
All military components, government and non-government agencies, veteran service organizations, community-based groups, faith-based organizations, private and non-profit organizations that have an interest or role in supporting soldiers, veterans and their families are encouraged to attend. A key-note speaker will be present at the meeting.
