John W. “Buddy” Dunn, 70 of Scottsboro, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Russell Justice officiated. Interment followed in New Prospect Cemetery.

Mr. Dunn is survived by his children, Julie (Tony) Kimbrough and Mary (Freddy) Corbitt, both of Scottsboro; grandchildren, Marie Knight, Keshia Mendenhall, Damien Kimbrough, Freddy Corbitt, Jr. and Nicole Corbitt; and great grandchildren; Zaxier Knight and Zander Mendenhall. Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Annie Dunn; brothers, Thomas Dunn and JR Dunn; and granddaughters, Emily Corbitt.
