Praline Butter Pecan Cake

I love this cake and especially in the fall. It has all the fall flavors that just yell to me. It is an easy cake to bake and you will love serving it to your family and friends.
Enjoy!
Shirley

Ingredients:
Butter pecan cake mix
3 eggs
⅓ cup of oil
1 ⅓ cup of milk
2 teaspoons of rum extract
1 8 ounce package of cream cheese
2 cups of powdered sugar
½ of a large container of cool whip
¼ cup of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
⅓ cup of whipping cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of confectioners sugar
¾ cup of toasted chopped pecans

Directions:
Mix together cake mix, eggs, oil, milk, and extract. Bake in two round cake pans at 350° until toothpick comes out clean in the middle. Then mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and cool whip together. In a saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar, whipping cream, and confectioners sugar. Let bubble for two minutes, stirring constantly. Fold in pecans. Set aside and let cool. Spread half of cream cheese on first layer. Repeat with second layer. Pour Praline sauce over the top. Place in refrigerator for at least two hours.
