Here is a quick and easy appetizer. They are sooooo good...thanks for the recipe Bridget!
1 pound of sausage, browned
½ onion, minced
¾ cup Barbecue Sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 package of 12 buttery flaky biscuits
Preheat oven to 400°. Brown the sausage in a frying pan. Drain grease. Add onion and saute for 2 minutes. Cover meat and onion in barbecue sauce. Set aside. Separate biscuit dough into 18- 24 biscuits. Place one biscuit in ungreased muffin cup, pressing dough up sides to edge of cup. Spoon meat mixture into cups and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
